    SEWER FL0W MONITORING

Sewer flow monitoring experience within Indepth Surveys covers more than 10 years. Our head office is in Bristol England with current operational bases in Dublin (Ireland), Gent (Belgium) and Hong Kong.

Carrying out surveys in remote locations is not a problem with our flexible approach to surveying and modem data communication systems. We have worked throughout the United Kingdom, Europe and the Far East.

Employing state of the art equipment and techniques, we collect, analyse and report on sewer flow data. This provides the information to:-
  • Investigate flooding and/or surcharging in a sewer system.
  • Establish sewer capacities with particular reference to new developments.
  • Identify major sources of infiltration into a sewer system.
  • Verify a model of a sewer system, such as in WALLRUS, SPIDA, HYDROWORKS or other simulation programmes.
  • Check the operation of combined storm overflows.
  • Confirm the performance of sewerage improvement schemes.
All our staff are fully trained for safe working in sewers.

All our sewer flow survey equipment is intrinsically safe for use in both hazardous and non hazardous envirornnents. It is regularly calibrated to ensure data accuracy is maintained.

All work is carried out in accordance with the standards laid down in the "Guide to Short Term Flow Surveys" as published by WRc.

In addition to Short Term flow surveys, we also undertake Long Term flow surveys where data retrieval can be by telemetry. This gives the advantages of operational cost savings and 'real time' data.
